Welcome to the Bay City SE Group's new forum. Whether you you recommended to come here or found your way on your own I invite you to join our group.
What is Bay City SE?
Bay City SE was founded by some friends and myself for the purpose of having a fun 'themed' gaming clan in GTA Online. Although the group itself fell apart, I decided not to give up on it and instead to try to expand to include further gaming avenues. As of right now I personally will only be recruiting through XBox Live on the XBox 360. I welcome anyone from any system however, and if you are the first from another system I have good news for you. You will likely be chosen to lead and begin recruiting for your system. Kind of a nice thought to imagine yourself in a leadership position eh?
Anyway, what I intend with Bay City SE (BCSE for short) is to create a fun, tight knit group of friends that enjoy a common interest, gaming. The membership and leadership set up will be crafted after a military style rank and organization system giving you plenty of options for progression and leadership in the group. Probably starting to sound like any other large gaming group right? Wrong. You see, the difference between BCSE and other clans (other than we don't have 20,000 members...yet) is the fact that where as most large clans just want to to join for their own numbers and to look popular while you run around with their tag and emblem, I actually look out for our people. I promote actually playing with my members. You won't be required to wear a BCSE clan tag or emblem. All I ask is that you remain active in-game or on the forums and try to have some fun gaming with friends.
Are there any rules to join?
Technically there are no rules for membership other than to try and remain active and be respectful to your fellow members. As previously stated I don't expect you to adorn your gaming characters with BCSE associated tags and emblems. I invite you to be creative and create your own emblems that represent you.
Is there anything I can do within the group other than play games?
Of course. I have both this forum web-site and a published domain for the group that I put together myself with little experience. I am more than willing to welcome you as a graphics designer if you are good at it and can prove your worth. You would then be in charge of putting together the web sites and making them look nice. I also need someone good with photoshop to make some decent emblems and banners if that's your thing.
As the membership grows (if it does as I suspect) I will also need people to moderate the forums and keep things under control.
I could use people good at organization to plan events for the group.
And if you have any other ideas, I am more than open to them.
So to finish this off I want to thank you for your interest in Bay City SE. If you want to sign up just to enjoy posting in our gaming and other forums by all means feel free. I want to personally welcome you to sign up for a membership in the group. If interested direct yourself to the Enlisted forum and fill out an application. I look forward to gaming with you, have a good one.
